How the Renaissance Building Began
Thirty years ago, Mark Pisco faced the same decisions you are facing today. He was searching for the perfect home for his growing family. When he couldn’t find a house on the market that met his uncompromising standards for craftsmanship and detail, he made a pivotal decision: he would build it himself.
What started as a personal mission to provide a safe, beautiful foundation for his own family quickly grew into a lifelong calling. Mark realized that other families in the community desperately needed a builder who treated their future home not as a chaotic job site, but as a masterpiece in the making.
Over 100 custom homes later, that foundational drive remains the same. Today, Renaissance Building is a proud father-son team. Mark and Anthony combine decades of hands-on, artisanal expertise with a modern approach to construction management.Together, they guide families across Wixom, Oakland County, and Metro Detroit through the building process with the same care and attention to detail that Mark poured into that very first family build.

Mark brings over 30 years of experience in custom home building to your project. Having built more than 100 homes, he views every build as a personal work of art. As a Licensed Residential Builder and Real Estate Agent, Mark specializes in custom builds on owner-provided lots. Off the job site, you’ll find him travelling to warm destinations or relaxing on his boat.
Anthony J. Pisco
Vice President
Working side-by-side with his dad, Anthony leads the Construction Management side of Renaissance Building. A Michigan State University graduate and Licensed Residential Builder, Anthony ensures your project runs smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. When he’s not managing builds, you can find him reading motivational books or managing his Fantasy Football teams.
