How the Renaissance Building Began

Thirty years ago, Mark Pisco faced the same decisions you are facing today. He was searching for the perfect home for his growing family. When he couldn’t find a house on the market that met his uncompromising standards for craftsmanship and detail, he made a pivotal decision: he would build it himself.

What started as a personal mission to provide a safe, beautiful foundation for his own family quickly grew into a lifelong calling. Mark realized that other families in the community desperately needed a builder who treated their future home not as a chaotic job site, but as a masterpiece in the making.

Over 100 custom homes later, that foundational drive remains the same. Today, Renaissance Building is a proud father-son team. Mark and Anthony combine decades of hands-on, artisanal expertise with a modern approach to construction management.Together, they guide families across Wixom, Oakland County, and Metro Detroit through the building process with the same care and attention to detail that Mark poured into that very first family build.

With more than 30 years of experience in custom home building, Mark brings seasoned leadership and a craftsman’s mindset to every Renaissance project. Having built over 100 custom homes, he approaches each residence as a personal work of art—designed with intention, precision, and lasting quality.

A Licensed Residential Builder and Real Estate Expert, Mark specializes in guiding clients through custom builds on their own property, ensuring every detail reflects their vision and lifestyle. A proud veteran, Mark believes strongly in integrity, discipline, and service—values that shape the way Renaissance Building operates every day.

When he’s not on-site or collaborating with clients, Mark enjoys traveling to warm destinations and spending time on the water with his wife and family.

Mark A. Pisco is President and Co-Owner of Renaissance Building, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the design and construction of custom homes. A seasoned builder with a deep understanding of architectural detail, structural integrity, and timeless design, Mark has built his reputation on craftsmanship, precision, and enduring client relationships.
Throughout his career, Mark has led the construction of distinctive, high-quality residences, guiding homeowners from concept through completion with clarity and confidence. His hands-on expertise and commitment to excellence set the standard for every project Renaissance Building undertakes.
A proud United States Navy veteran, Mark carries forward the discipline, leadership, and integ-rity instilled during his military service into his work and business philosophy. He believes that trust, accountability, and attention to detail are non-negotiable when building homes meant to last for generations.
Outside of the office and job site, Mark enjoys boating, traveling, spending time with his wife and granddaughters, and relaxing with a fine glass of bourbon. His passion for both craftsman-ship and family continues to shape the legacy he is building — not only in the homes he creates, but within the company he leads alongside his son.

Anthony
Anthony J. Pisco

Vice President

Working alongside his father, Anthony leads the Construction Management side of Renaissance Building, ensuring each project is executed with exceptional organization, communication, and attention to detail.

A graduate of Michigan State University and a Licensed Residential Builder, Anthony oversees project coordination, scheduling, and day-to-day operations to make sure every home progresses smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. His hands-on leadership helps maintain the boutique level of service Renaissance clients expect.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys traveling with his family, being a “Girl Dad”, Fantasy Football Aficionado, Watch Enthusiast, and avid reader of business development books and podcasts.

Anthony is a licensed builder and graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned his degree in Construction Management. As Vice President and Co-Owner of Renaissance Building, he combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to deliver thoughtfully designed custom homes and barndominiums built to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

With years of hands-on experience in residential construction, Anthony believes that building a home should be a disciplined, transparent, and highly personalized process. He is committed to meticulous planning, clear communication, and an uncompromising attention to detail — ensuring every client experience reflects the same level of quality as the finished product.

A devoted husband to his wife, Mary, for nearly two decades and a proud father of two daughters, Anthony’s work is grounded in family values and long-term vision. As an active member of Rotary International, he is deeply committed to strengthening the community he serves, believing that true success is measured not only by projects completed, but by impact made.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys traveling, fine bourbon, and competitive fantasy football. He is committed to continuous growth as a business owner, regularly investing in leadership development, industry education, and meaningful professional relationships to better serve his clients.
